Specialized Publishing

Three brands. 10,000 titles. A proven business model.
With nearly two centuries of experience in book manufacturing, Courier has had a natural interest in publishing for a long time. In the early 1990s we began exploring ways to participate in publishing markets without conflicting with the interests of our book manufacturing customers. Our solution has been to focus on specialized markets and opportunities where we could make a difference that others might not.

In growing our specialty publishing business, we’ve been helped tremendously by three factors. One is our strong relationships with publishing customers — two of whom sought us out as potential acquirers. The second is a distinctive business model based on owning our content outright and selling both directly and indirectly through a combination of specialized and mass-market channels. And the third is simply the quality and value of the books we publish — as you’ll quickly see when you get to know them.
