N. Chelmsford, Massachusetts (located approx. 40 minutes northwest of Boston)



Maintenance Specialist (2nd Shift, 3PM – 11:15PM)

The Digital Print Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing mechanical and electronic maintenance, including repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of digital equipment and finishing systems. Specific job duties include: Repair complex digital printing and binding equipment; perform temporary fixes to keep equipment running as needed; troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and make repairs as required; learn Hewlett Packard and Muller Martini maintenance routines and apply skills when necessary; assist digital printing department in the performance of scheduled preventive maintenance; assist in maintaining preventive maintenance and work order request records; assist with the maintenance of inventory records of machine parts, tools and maintenance supplies; assist outside contractors and corporate engineering with projects as needed; retrieve roll stock for web presses when needed; bale paper & corrugated waste, shake down dust bags and tie off waste bales; assist in the preparation and coordination of waste pick ups when needed; assist in preparations and coordination as it relates to recycling program. Specific job skills include: Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in mechanical and electronic maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably with digital printing and binding equipment; ability to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical equipment problems or failures; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors, and contractors; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule, or schematic form; high School diploma or GED; Strong PC Skills.

Digital Assistant (7PM – 7AM, 12-hour shift, 3-4 days per week)

Team member of a fast-paced work environment, primarily assisting on the T300 we presses , with cross training in other areas as permitted. Primary job duties include: Review print and bind schedules and prepare jobs to be run; review job ticket for specific information to run job; assist in the set up and operation of digital equipment based on job specifications; stack book blocks off folder equipment to be fed into binder; load book blocks into binder line; stack bound books and prepare for shipment; operate automated carton/strapping equipment; shrink-wrap cartons in preparation for shipment; maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area on a daily basis. Specific skills and qualifications include: Must be able to read, write and follow work instruction in English and effectively communicate with team; strong PC skills are required; mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to use a ruler.

Westford, Massachusetts (located approx. 40 minutes northwest of Boston)



General Bindery Operator (1st shift, 8 AM - 4 PM)

The General Bindery Operator will be part of a fast-paced production team responsible for assisting in the operation of book binding. Specific responsibilities will includes setting up, operating and maintaining binders and related equipment, lead and direct the activities of a crew and understand the importance of meeting production and quality standards, operate equipment to achieve or exceed production, quality and waste standards, perform preventive maintenance according to established PM schedule. Mechanical abilities and basic computer skills are required. Position requires a High School diploma or GED. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions is necessary along with the ability to read and use a ruler. Must be able to read, write and follow work instruction in English and effectively communicate with team. Prior bindery experience is helpful. Experience running perfect binding equipment is preferred, but the right mechanically inclined candidate can be trained.

Bundler (3 nights per week, 12 hour shifts, 7 PM – 7 AM)

The Bundler will be part of a fast-paced production team responsible for assisting in the operation of printing. Specific responsibilities will include bale quality printed signatures (section of a book) off press in accordance to job specifications and position them on pallets according to established configurations, create bale tags indicating signature number and bale number, check signature register and check signatures for quality defects, and assist press crew with job make-readies, housekeeping duties and preventative maintenance. Must be able to read, write and follow work instruction in English and effectively communicate with team, high school diploma or GED required, and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and use a ruler is necessary. The Bundler is regularly required to stand for entire shift, bend and twist at the waist, lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, and climb in and out of units to change plates. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are required to ensure good quality product is produced timely to meet customer expectations. A must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload.

Production Maintenance – Electrician/Mechanic (8PM – 8AM, three 12-hour shifts and every other Sunday as necessary)

Responsibilities include electrical, mechanical and building maintenance including troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of printing and binding equipment as well as building systems. Inspecting equipment for proper operation and performing preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed. Primary responsibilities will include repair all production equipment as needed, perform breakdown analysis timely and efficiently to get equipment back in production, perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot, and repair and carry out preventive maintenance on building systems. Must be able to interpret electrical specifications and schematics. Ability to work well with and assist outside contractors, corporate engineering, production and maintenance employees with projects and repairs. Work independently under limited supervision. Comply with good manufacturing practices, safety, housekeeping and audit standards. Intermediate computer skills are required. 5 years electrical/mechanical experience working in a manufacturing environment with large production equipment, preferably with printing & binding equipment. Experience with mechanical systems. Experience with PLC software and terminology helpful.

Baler/Skidder (1st Shift, 8 AM – 4 PM and 2nd Shift, 4 PM – 12 AM)

Feed bundles to gathering equipment, skidding packages of printed material or individual books at end of binder lines and other Bindery duties as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have the desire to work in a fast paced environment and to move up in the organization. High school diploma or GED required.

Position requires a High School diploma or GED. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions is necessary along with the ability to read and use a ruler. Applicant must also be willing to cross train, work overtime when necessary and work in various job positions based on workload.

Kendallville, Indiana (located approx. 25 minutes northeast of Fort Wayne)

Press Feeder Operator

Seeking candidate for feeder operator position on offset printing press. Duties include, but not limited to, loading paper into feeder end of press, applying ink to press units, assisting press operator with weekly maintenance and other duties as needed.
