Google Calendar, Outlook, Office 365, and Yahoo each expose a URL scheme that opens a pre-filled new-event screen. The event title, times, location, and description travel as query parameters, so a single click saves the event without any typing. Apple Calendar has no URL scheme, which is why the standard fallback is an ICS file, the iCalendar format every calendar app can import.

Event emails typically include two or three of these links side by side, or one smart link per recipient when the sender knows which client they use. Including them is one of the most reliable ways to lift attendance for webinars and onboarding calls.

The links this tool generates use floating local times, meaning the event lands at the stated wall-clock time in each recipient's own calendar time zone. That is the right behavior for most product events announced to a global audience when you phrase times as local.

For a single-time-zone event like a live webinar, state the zone explicitly in the title or description, for example Launch webinar (11am ET). All-day events skip times entirely and use date-only values, which every service treats consistently.
